About GearMage and products
GearMage develops utility based software as either freeware or shareware. GearMage is dedicated to releasing quality software to fill gaps not currently filled by other programs for the Windows platform.
The first such program called Mail Attachment Downloader v1.0 was released to the public on October 1st 2009.
GearMage intends to release several such programs in the upcoming months. For more details about upcoming products, check this space.

Media Event Organizer v1.0
Above is a screenshot of Media Event Organizer with which one can scan their folders for pictures and sort them into events. You can choose the event gap and Media Event Organizer does the rest for you.
It even splits up the photos by year, by month or by event or a combination of all the above. Within the event, the photos are split by days.
